J Lo and Marc: Poised for Parenthood

They’ve stayed pretty low-profile since their tour ended, and now Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony say they’re eagerly awaiting the birth of their twins.
The “Jenny from the Block” singer and her hubby were spotted yesterday at the Marchesa Fall 2008 show as part of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City.
And Marc wasn’t shy about his enthusiasm for fatherhood. “I’m excited to be a daddy! What’s not to be excited about?” Meanwhile J. Lo sounded almost as excited about the Marchesa dress she got to wear to the show.
She told press, “We found one that fit! [The designer] knew kind of how big I was. I was like, ‘I want to come to the presentation.’ She was like, ‘OK,’ and sends a dress over.”
“For the size I am right now, I mean it’s just still kind of slim through the front — which is crazy! I tried on some things, and some things just make you look like you’re wearing a tent. It’s very cute. And it has pockets and the whole thing!”
A few hours later, Lopez and Anthony hit up Madonna’s Raising Malawi/Unicef benefit dinner/auction. It looks like they’re making the most of their declining days til the twins are born.
